Highland Heart is a family owned and run business with family values,  based in Scotland, (just outside of Aberdeen, the Oil capital of Europe), at the start of the whisky trail. Where the purest of Scottish waters adds a distinctive element to the world famous Scottish whiskies, and we believe it also adds a certain something to our soaps and body care products. 

A certain something that no other manufacture in the world has or can reproduce.

Highland Hearts first range of products were formulated out of necessity when the company founder's daughter developed eczema as a baby. She then began studying aromatherapy in a desperate attempt to remedy the effects when all medical avenues had been exhausted.

Through her studies, she began to learn more about the ingredients that manufacturers used in the soap and body care products she was using. Disturbed by the information, she began formulating her own soaps and lotions using only natural ingredients. The dryness that had plagued her daughters short life soon disappeared as her skin was soothed and nourished by the natural formulations.

With both pressure and encouragement from friends, family and other women who had tried her line, she opened Highland Heart in 1998 and began sharing her products with the public.

The business has grown from its humble beginnings supplying friends and family to its present state of exporting to fourteen countries worldwide and still growing.
